How to Make Healthy Lunch

I remember when I was in elementary school, my mom used to make me the most delicious and healthy lunches. She would always make sure that I had a balanced meal with plenty of fruits and vegetables. She would also make sure that I had a variety of snacks to choose from.

My mom would always start by packing a sandwich. She would use whole wheat bread and fill it with lean meats, cheese, and vegetables. She would also add some fruit to the sandwich, like apples or oranges.

Next, she would add some snacks to the lunch. She would usually include some nuts, like almonds or walnuts, and some dried fruit. She would also include some yogurt or a piece of fruit.

Finally, she would add a drink to the lunch. She would usually pack a bottle of water or a juice box. She would also include a thermos of hot tea or coffee for me to enjoy.

My mom’s lunches were always so delicious and healthy. I would always look forward to eating them and I knew that I was getting the nutrition I needed to stay healthy.
